“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Hi, are you ever in the UK and further North from London, like Scotland?

I am an object conservator (museums objects)and been busy with the conservation of Contemporary Art (a Hyperobject?). I came across your book Hyperobjects, which is the first useful approach to thinking- in my quest to comprehend what it is I am supposed to conserve.

Intersting stuff, should be more available...

The author hates on the show but it's like your essay marks the pivot. Nice! Can the e-mail exchange be had anywhere 4 free?
